What risks are can be involved when a belly button piercing getting?

    ummm…im only 13 n im so desperate 4 a belly piercing.im so desperate tht i go my frnd 2 do it 4 me.n then after it hurt lyk hell n i took tha ring off(wasnt a belly ring tho,an earring)to clean my belly but afta i tried to put tha ring back but it didnt work so i left it.now itz all healed but i hav a scar of it n my skin is sorta hard.now i want to do it agen but in a professional shop.can i do tht?or is it 2 risk??HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!SOON!!!!

    hey to all of you having trouble with getting off the hoop with a bead, the answer may scare you but get some plyers and put them in the middle of the hoop and try to widen it and the ball should drop down.. make sure you clean everything before you do this!!!

    I recently got my belly button pierced two days ago but i think it was put in the worng way. The ball on the top is bigger, and the ball on the bottom is the one that she screwed on after the piercing was done and it is smaller. I am not sure if i should go back to the same place and switch it or if i should just leave it alone…..Please help me!!!!!!!!!

    I have a question. I have had my piercing for almost a month and it’s not red, burning or itchong. It doesn’t cause me any pain at all but right under the piercing there’s a little orange gook that comes out. It looks like jello and no matter how much I clean, it keeps coming back. Is it infected

    I think that as long as you can prevent you belly button from being infected you can keep on doing body percings I in about @ 2 days will get my tong ring too.

    I got my belly button pierced about a week ago its kind of red and sometimes green gooke comes out but my step mom says its normal and so does the woman that pierces it my friends say its not. I clean it with anti bacterial soap and vacteen and last i put neosporine on it its that ok also some times i use alchahol can i use contact solution to.

    You should go to your doctor again. In case of abscess you should know that unlike other infections, antibiotics alone will not cure an abscess. In general an abscess must open and drain in order for it to improve. Sometimes draining occurs on its own, but generally it must be opened by a doctor in a procedure called incision and drainage.

    i got my belly button done 2 and half weeks ago..its all infected so i went to the doctors and was put on a course of antibiotics and told to use surgical spirits to cleanse the infected area. However its still quite purple and black around that area and now its starting to slowly pus..??!!!
    i think it might be an abscess… any ideas wat should i do??..help!!!.. xxx
